Hike in the Jungle

The Jaco Hike is located in the Jaco/Hermosa Mountains on Private Land with over 110 acres of

Deep Jungle, Waterfalls, and Spectacular Ocean Views.

Wildlife found on the hike can include Macaws, Toucans, Parrots, Butterflies,

Monkey’s, Spectacular Bird Life, and a variety of Snakes.

HIKE DETAILS

HIKE DURATION: Flexible 1-3 Hours

HIKE TIMES:

Morning Hike 7:00am

Mid-day Hike 11:00am

DISTANCE: 2-4 kms

DIFFICULTY: On a scale of 1-10 the hike will range from 2-6 Easy to Advanced

WHAT TO BRING?

  • Drinking water for the trail

  • Bring a great smile

  • Closed-toed shoes (tennis or hiking shoes etc.)

  • Comfortable clothing you can get dirty

  • Sunscreen

  • Bug spray

  • Cash for purchases and donations

    (Credit cards are not possible on the mountain)

RESTRICTIONS

  • No flip flops, sandals, or open-toed shoes

  • No walkers or wheelchair access

  • No wandering off trail

  • No feeding the wildlife

  • Must be healthy enough to walk up inclines and down declines on uneven surfaces

  • Children under 12 must be accompanied with an adult
